The classic cylinder cremation jewelry is a pendant that can be worn by both men or women. The cylinder is made from aluminum and plated in 24k gold. Each pendant can be worn as a necklace or can also be used as a keepsake key chain. This pendant has an inner cylinder that will hold the ashes inside. Along with the pendant you will received a complimentary 20" ball chain, filling kit and jewelry box. Other chain lengths and styles are also available.
Opening and Filling This Pendant
Our keepsake pendants bring memories to an even more personal level by holding a small portion of cremated remains, a lock of hair or dried ceremonial flowers. The pendants easily seal with a threaded top with a rubber o-ring to prevent leakage and to keep moisture out. Once the lid is removed, the small cylinder inside should be filled with your chosen material, the cylinder placed back inside the outer gold cylinder and the lid screwed back on firmly. A specially formulated jewerly glue is included to secure the cylinder shut once filled. I'm very happy with this purchased also it came with a nice chain. All there I have 3 different colors of cylinders (silver, purple and gold). The gold color is the best, very shiny, it doesn't even look like gold plated. This gold cylinder is of high quality. To me it looks like 14k real gold. It was worth buying it! -

I purchased this item to keep the fur of my late cat and best friend and companion of 14 years close to my heart. The picture makes the cylinder look MUCH smaller and more discreet than it really is; however, they are completely upfront and accurate with the size in the item description they provide, and I had measured it out on paper so I knew what to expect - however mine is definitely larger than the one in the picture, so I question the accuracy of the photo.
It serves its purpose perfectly however, and is lovely, reasonably priced, and I feel confident with the strength of the cord it came to hang on as well as the tightness of the seal. It came amazingly fast and the free delivery was definitely a factor in my decision to purchase from this vendor.
The only thing I would change is I would make it personalize-able, as it is definitely large enough for engraving, if the engraving is the same size as it was on the urn I ordered (although to look at the picture, it would look too small for engraving - and the urn was much larger). Adding my pets' name with a "always close to my heart" would have made a nice touch. But the description is 100% accurate and if this is what you are looking for, based on my experience I highly recommend purchasing from this site, -
