Along with Arlene, Linda, and others I want to say God Bless You, your family and horse! You do what others like myself would like to do, but can’t. I’m out of work right now, but have a horse and I know how much hay is and vet bills, so what little I can send I’m sure you will find a good use for it. You help the families who have lost their loved one, to go through the ceremony with a special, unique memory. They can’t replace their loved one, but knowing people like you really care, will help them, now and forever. Thank you for your tender heart and putting that into action. You are a very special person. You will be in my daily prayers!

I saw your story on the news and I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Both of my sons just joined the Marines and are at bootcamp even as we speak. I hope God blesses you richly for what you are giving to our men, women and as a mother my boys.

Ms. Melgosa, Thank you so much for your generosity to those who have lost their son, daughters, fathers, brothers, mothers and sisters in these trying times. I have two children, one daughter and one son, both United States Marines and I thank God every day that I know that another day has passed without harm to them. Words cannot express our Thanks to Lorraine for bringing her hearse to Dalhart, Texas for the burial of our Grandson, Sgt. David Alan Davis, 26 Sept. 2009. I did not get to speak to her but David’s Dad did, and his Brother Roy Lynn Davis had the honor of driving hearse from Horizon Funeral Home to the Church and back.
Lorraine is truly an American Hero. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You
