Whitney Huston Placed in Her Final Resting Place

February 2012, Whitney Huston was finally laid to rest surrounded by her closest friends and family. Several celebrities were seen in attendance at the funeral. Many claim that the funeral was more about celebrating her life and career than it was about mourning her death. Several fans were spotted surrounding the cemetery and roadways leading up to the gravesite, however, the cemetery was rented out so that no unwanted guests could attend. Whitney was buried in a cemetery in New Jersey next to her father whom passed away in 2003.

Several fanatic fans were seen running alongside the hearse trying to get a glimpse of Whitney’s final journey to her final resting place. Many fans were also waiting at the funeral home, some even staying overnight, in hopes of getting a view of some of the hottest celebrities and attempting to give their respects to the family, none of which happened.

It was a well-known fact that Whitney had problems with drugs and struggled every day. Her system was filled with crack cocaine when she passed, and it has been ruled as an overdose as her cause of death. While many people across the nation were very sad about Whitney Houston’s passing, most were not surprised that it happened, however, many were surprised that it did not happen sooner. Whitney’s drug problem has been long standing, since her separation from her ex-husband Bobby Brown. Her daughter Bobby Christina and her ex-husband Bobby Brown are still living. While nobody condones drug use, Whitney’s death was tragic.
