Perfect Mother of Pearl Cremation Urn
Each Mother of Pearl cremation urn is hand made from solid genuine high polished brass and mother of pearl (also know as nacre). This urn has a top-opening with a secure threaded lid. Due to the nature of the natural stone, patterns and colors will vary with each cremation urn.

Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in a variety of fonts. Engraving can be up to 5 lines with a total of 35 characters on each line. The first two lines will be engraved on the brass band towards the top of the urn. Lines 3-5 will be engraved on the lower portion of the urn. (See above image)

Engraving Process

Why choose engraving?
Engraving your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

How long will engraving take?
Our engraving is done extremely fast by our skilled engravers. If a ground order is placed before 12:00pm Central Standard Time the urn is generally engraved and shipped the same business day. For expedited or rush orders we make every effort possible to ship same day even after 12:00pm. We encourage calling our customer care line at 1-800-979-8767 if rush engraving is needed after 12:00pm so we can make special arrangements for you.

Mother of Pearl Urn

I was very pleased with my purchase. It arrived very quickly and the engraving was beautiful. The mouth of the urn was wide enough for the contents to fit in easily, including the letter of cremation for future urn burial. I chose the mother-of-pearl because the urn was for my mother's ashes. Everyone at the memorial commented on how lovely it is. The price was phenomenol and much, much lower than the plain the urns shown to us at the funeral home.

Perfect for my Mother

My Mother passed away this morning and the urn arrived four hours later. This is exactly what she would have picked out.

This is a beautiful urn. I would recommend more for a female rather than a male. The engraving was on the light side not deep enough - hardly can see the engraving.

We bought this urn for my dad, and the picture does not portray its beauty as much as it does in person. The engraving was perfect, and I like the fact that you have the opportunity to review the text before they engrave it. We did it in "spanish", and we received it in less than a week. Great Urn

Thankfully is not often that we look for items like urns, but it is good to know that when the need to have one is here there are places like Perfect Memorials that can offer excellent value and beautiful product.
My wife was recently cremated, and I resisted the initial impulse to buy the first urn that I was show or came upon when I was searching for one. By pure luck after many days of looking searching, I came upon this web site and immediately like the Mother of Pearl Urn, to be the resting place for my wife ashes. Beautiful Urn; Great Price!

This urn is very attractive. The mother of pearl is artfully done and the whole unit just says, "class". This is an is an ideal piece for a final resting place. It is well made and has some heft to it. The lid is a screw on type and that works well and looks good. This purchase was at half the price the funeral parlor was asking for the same urn.

The brass mother of pearl urn is a wonderful testament to my mother’s life. The piece exudes so many of my mother’s attributes: warmth, class, beauty, cheerfulness of heart. It brightens the room just as she did.

A classic urn

This is the second urn I have bought from Perfect Memorials - last year one for my Dad and this one for my Mom. I think this is a very feminine urn and very fitting for a very feminine lady. I love the mother of pearl bands and the only way I can think to improve it would be to offer it in an antique brass finish. The price was approximately a third of what the funeral home wanted, I've recommended your company to a cousin who will be cremated. And I intend to buy an urn for myself from Perfect Memorials in the near future.

Touched the heart

We lost my father a month ago, days after he turned 98. He had pre-planned everything so the family wouldn't have to deal with those details. However, the urns he had purchased years ago were not they correct type or size. To help my Mom get through her loss, I told her I would find an urn for Dad. I knew nothing about them, but found your site online and leaned all I needed to to make the best choice. I had one engraved for DAd, and purchased a matching one for my Mom when needed. I selected this urn for my mother's ashes. It came in just a few days even during the xmas holidays! I was so surprised. It was everything and more than it looked online. It is beautiful and a fitting tribute to our mother. I got the engraving as well and it was perfect! Great value a similar urn at the funeral home was several hundred dollars more! I am more than satisfied. The ability to purchase online at such a savings and in the comfort of my home where the family could make the joint decision even with my brother living on the opposite coast was a godsend rather than sitting in a funeral parlor with the director trying to make a hard decision with out family input and support. My family was thrilled to be involved so intimately during a time we all needed support without the expense of time and travel. It gave a great sense of peace and togetherness in our time of grief.

So beautiful and perfect !!! Delivered in 2 days..it is so awesome when I took it to the funeral home to have my fathers ashes put in it the funeral directors said it was one of the finest they have ever seen...

We received the beautiful Brass Mother of Pearl Cremation Urn in time for my mom's celebration of her life service. Two day shipping and it was here on time. Nice urn at a good price

My neighbor's mother died and he didn't have the money to buy a proper urn, so I decided to find a nice urn at a price I could afford to get for him and his family to place his mother's ashes in. His dad's ashes were in a cast brass urn so he wanted something in cast brace to go with his dad's urn. When I saw this one with the mother of pearl inlay I thought it would be a perfect compliment, and it's beautiful. We had four lines of engraving done, and the urn and engraving is beautiful. The urn itself seems to be well made, the mother of pearl inlay seems solidly attached. The photo looks true to what was received, so if you like the photo I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This urn is absolutely beautiful. It is even more impressive than shows in this picture. The brass has a very high gloss to it and the mother of pearl tiles are exquisite. The top screws on very securely and the whole piece is quite substantial. It is not, however, so heavy that it is difficult to lift. The bottom is felt-covered to protect any furniture on which you might place it. Both the bottom band and middle band are engraveable and really finish the urn with class and style. The price is very reasonable, especially compared with what a funeral home charges. I would highly recommend this urn to anyone who loves mother-of-pearl and brass.
