Perfect Mother of Pearl Keepsake Cremation Urn
 Each Mother of Pearl Keepsake cremation urn is hand made from solid genuine high polished brass and mother of pearl (also know as nacre). This urn has a top-opening with a secure threaded lid. Due to the nature of the natural stone, patterns and colors will vary with each cremation urn.

Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Engraving can be up 2 lines. Each line can be up to 35 characters. (See above image)

Engraving Process

Why choose engraving?
Engraving your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

How long will engraving take?
Our engraving is done extremely fast by our skilled engravers. If a ground order is placed before 12:00pm Central Standard Time the urn is generally engraved and shipped the same business day. For expedited or rush orders we make every effort possible to ship same day even after 12:00pm. We encourage calling our customer care line at 1-800-979-8767 if rush engraving is needed after 12:00pm so we can make special arrangements for you.

I love the beauty of the urn. My mother loved the mother of pearl earrings I bought her years ago on a trip to Europe.
The gold matches all the trim and decor of my home so it doesn't stand out but I know the beauty of my mother and I speak about her often. I also touch the urn when I'm sad and remember all the encouragement she gave me as a child. She was a great cook, so it sits on a stand in the living room on the entry to my kitchen. I often say, ok mom, what's for dinner? Also the price was great!

Stunning Mother of Pearl Urn!

My husband and I recently lost our son who died at the age of 1 a few weeks before his 2nd birthday. I recently lost my mother and ordered this urn, as I had previously ordered this same urn for my father when he passed in 2008. I was very pleased with this urn for my father, and I am equally pleased with it for my mother. The brass is very shiny and the mother of pearl tiles are just beautiful. The top screws on very securely and the urn is of good quality. It has substantial weight to it with felt on the bottom so it will not scratch any surface on which you might place it. The engraving came out just as I had envisioned it. I would highly recommend this urn to anyone who loves brass and mother of pearl. It is an excellent value for the price.

She was the light of my life and her death although not surprising was still unbelievably hard after being together for 13 years. Beautiful and Tasteful

I purchased this urn to hold the ashes of my dear cat, best friend, and reliable companion of 14 years. As my husband is not thrilled about my decision to keep the ashes, I needed something tasteful and multi-purpose. This urn is absolutely beautiful; the pictures don't do it justice. However, the engraving is very tiny and done in the uppermost gold stripe, so one must pick up the item and examine it very closely in order to read the inscription.

Which, if you are looking for something that doesn't scream, "ASHES HERE!" is perfect.

The focus is more on the item than what's in it - meaning, if you want the name/details of what is inside to be highly noticeable, you might need a different item, as I don't believe they offer different sizes in engraving; there is an extra charge to have a preview of the engraving, and if there is a way to change the size from there, I would not know as I opted not to pay the extra fee.

For me, it is a very fitting resting place for my exceptionally beautiful angel. I am very pleased with this purchase; I just advise those who want the inscription to stand out, to perhaps look at other items. The shipping was free and nearly instantaneous and the item matched the description perfectly. Sadly, I will definitely be ordering from Perfect Memorials again, as I have 2 cats, but hopefully, I won't need their services again for a long time. However, I feel secure knowing I won't have to add to the grieving process by searching for their resting places, since I already have this site bookmarked for that unhappy day.

We had Our girl for 15 years. She was the best companion that any one could want. She meant the world to us and we wanted something special to honor her. We picked this because it matched her colors. Now she will always be with us and in such a beautiful way. This is a great Urn and is so pretty, just like Our Girl.

It's a nice urn, the shells are pretty on the outside and engraving looks nice. I had trouble deciding on an urn and picked it because the colors in the mother of pearl reminded me of my dogs shades of brown and white fur. I didn't expect the inside to be painted black, thought it would just be brass, but no one sees the inside anyway. I was easily able to get my dog's ashes in myself, and there was plenty of room to spare (she was 35 lbs). A beautiful crafted urn for my beautiful dog.

My closest brother died in Nov.2011 and it still does not seem real to me. He chose to be cremated and I received some of his ashes. I wanted something special to keep his ashes in and yet my budget was limited. I ordered the brass mother of pearl Urn.... it is absolutely beautiful!! The quality of the craftsmanship is awesome. I hope that I will not need their services anytime soon, however, the service and products are impeccable. Great company!!

Finding your services and this beautiful urn at a stressful, sad time was probably the easiest thing I've done since the loss of my mother. And the fact that it was 50% off really helped since it's the holidays to boot. The customer service was very helpful, as in 'full of help'. I asked if it was possible to expedite my urn same day (and it was late in day) and she said if it was possible, she would do it & she did. I hope you never need this service but if you do...you will be glad they are here.
