Use the 11" x 8.5" cast bronze plaque for memorials, buildings, flag pole dedications, donor or sponsor recognitions or milestone achievements.
This cast bronze plaque can feature your choice of up to 9 lines of text with as many as 46 characters per line. Typically a name, date of birth-death, and special verse or quote. Choose from a variety of fonts.
It's not necessary that all lines of text be used if you prefer to have less text appear on the plaque. Please be aware of the maximum number of characters per line (each letter, number, space and punctuation is a character that should be counted in this per-line total). Remember the more characters and words on each line, the more the individual characters and available number of lines must be reduced in size to fit the final layout.
As an example, if the first two lines of text are a person's name and date of birth-death, they will usually be in larger letters which will reduce the number of lines and amount of space for additional text. If you need more space, a larger plaque sizes are available.
Your line art-style graphic(s) or logo(s), or art chosen by our design team from our extensive collection, is also an option, at no additional charge. If you choose to have line-art style graphics or logos, please call 1-800-979-8767.
We have a talented team of graphics specialists who look forward to receiving your desired text and/or art theme choice so they can thoughtfully prepare a timely layout of your cast bronze marker for review, changes and approval prior to submitting it to the foundry.
Due to the bronze casting process, colors, textures and thicknesses may vary.
Cast Bronze Plaque Mounting
Although various methods of mounting our plaques are possible, the vast majority of our customers use the "conceal-mount" technique for installing their plaque against a concrete or brick building or wall. Typical installation includes creating a paper template outline of the reverse side of the plaque (a sturdy craft paper is best); marking on the paper where the holes are in the plaque.
The next step includes measuring, leveling and marking the drill holes in the surface of the building or wall; drilling slightly larger holes than the diameter of the threaded "studs" that will be screwed into the back of the plaque; hand-tightening the four threaded studs into the plaque; filling the drilled holes with industrial-grade epoxy; setting the plaque and studs into the holes so the plaque is flush with the surface of the wall, bench, etc.; and letting the epoxy set according to the manufacturer's directions.
