The Chippendale acts both as a memory chest and cremation urn. The inside of the lid has a photo frame that accommodates a 5 x 7 photo. Next to the frame is a small cushioned area onto which medals can be pinned. There is ample room for mementos or additional medals in the top shelf. The cremains compartment is hidden beneath the decorative shelf. This Veteran Cremation Urn comes with keys to lock the chest. The chest opens from the top, and the interior has a panel that attaches with screws for the cremains compartment.

Impressive - Made in China

Reviewed By: ANITA BARRY on 03/04/2012

Interior: 7.5 L x 5.75 W x 3.75 D
U.S. funeral industry-std, small-sized cremains container FAILS to install into box. Interior TOO SMALL by .25 inches all the way around but holds bagged remains. Disappointed...My Dad would hate it, he believed in buying American-made only, a proud US Vet & patriot.

Chippendale Chest Cremation Urn - 10-layer finish (PM2673)

When I recieved my fathers urn, I was just speechless. It was more beautiful than the pictures do justice. I could not be more pleased. My father was a wonderful, loving, generous man who served his country proudly. This Urn is so beautifully fitting of his memory. Many thanks.

Perfect for our purpose

Reviewed By: Stacy R. on 09/15/2011

We were looking for a suitable urn for the memorial for my WWII veteran father. The display areas for a period photo and medals is much nicer than simply having his ashes there in a box or a jar.
We were a bit concerned about the volume. The product was rated to hold 220 cubic inches. Dad was a big guy -- in the 180-200 lb. range. The ashes, enclosed in the bag, JUST fit in the compartment. We figured that we would be safe since he was 20-30 lbs. under the maximum by rule of thumb.
Overall though - very satisfied with the urn, the delivery time, the customer service, the sturdy packaging, and the ease of payment.

Absolutely beautiful. Very please with this purchase. The pics are nice but don't do it the justice it deserves.

Exactly what I wanted

Reviewed By: Shelby on 04/22/2013

I got this urn for my fiancé and it's beautiful. I know he would have loved it. The slot for the picture isn't as big as described, it only shows about 4x6, but it's still great. The part that is designed for metals also works great for his dog tags, which is what I wanted there. I'm very satisfied with the urn and how tasteful it is.

Perfect Memorial

My Dad's Chippendale memorial chest arrived today. The wood is just gorgeous! It looks like rosewood or cherry wood which was my Dad's favorite. The chest is just wonderful!
