    Engraved Plate

I ordered this plate, engraved for my father, to be attached to a triangular wood box frame housing his burial service flag. The engraved plate looks very good from a distance, but upon closer inspection the material is very thin and has fake screw markings and a peel-off adhesive backing. The product description did not indicate this information. I was expecting a better quality product with pre-drilled holes, with the inclusion of gold colored screws, for a secure attachment.

The 2 plates arrived in great condition and they are very beautiful. Better than I expected. they will be attached to a pair of outdoor rocking chairs I'm making for a grand daughter's wedding present. I'm leery of the self stick backing holding up. I think I will add a dab of silicone to be on the safe side. Small brass screws or even nails would be a better attachment method
