This Footprints In The Sand bronze cube cremation urn is made from sheet bronze. This cremation urn has a bottom-opening base that has a permanent snap-lock closure.

Footprints in the Sand
One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I need you most you would leave me." The Lord replied: "My precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

 

Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in a variety of fonts. Engraving can be up to 5 lines with a total of 35 characters per line. An optional poem may also be engraved on the back of the urn. Choose from 10 different poems (see poem choices below).

Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

How long will engraving take?
Our engraving is done extremely fast by our skilled engravers. If a ground order is placed before 12:00pm Central Standard Time the urn is generally engraved and shipped the same business day. For expedited or rush orders we make every effort possible to ship same day even after 12:00pm. We encourage calling our customer care line at 1-800-979-8767 if rush engraving is needed after 12:00pm so we can make special arrangements for you.

I love this urn. Footprints is one of my all time favorite poems and very fitting when you lose someone you love. I did get it engraved and it looks wonderful. The order shipped quickly and within the week I had the Urn in my hands. It is well packed in the shipping container as well so there are no dings/scratches when it arrives which was my biggest concern. Easy instructions as well. Thank you perfectmemorials.com for making such a lovely urn in this difficult time for my family and I.
