The Fossil Marble keepsake cremation urn is individually hand-turned on a lathe and polished. The pewter stand and top of the urn are both highly detailed. This keepsake urn has a top opening lid. Due to the nature of marble, patterns and colors will vary with each fossil marble keepsake cremation urn.

Fossil Marble Urn

Item is very nice and appears larger in the picture than in person. The stone looks gold in color on the internet, but was actually taupe in person. The lid will need to be sealed with glue, it is not a screw on lid.

Thank you for your feedback Debra. As with all natural stone products the color will vary slightly. For sealing the top we recommend using a bit of silicon glue. Silicon glue is much easier to work with then super glue as it isn't runny and dries slower.

it's a nice urn, perfect size for my needs, the pewter on the item is silver, looks black in photo, but still a nice item.
