The Large Cedar wood cremation urn is made from composite wood with American Cedar veneer. This urn has a top opening lid that has a lock and key. The bottom of the urn has soft felt pads which will help prevent damage when placed on delicate surfaces such as wood or glass. Grain varies with each urn.

Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Engraving can be up to 4 lines with a total of 35 characters on each line. Engraving will be done directly on the top of the urn. Optional artwork may also be engraved. (See artwork options above)

Why choose engraving?
Engraving your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

How long will engraving take?
Our engraving is done extremely fast by our skilled engravers. If a ground order is placed before 12:00pm Central Standard Time the urn is generally engraved and shipped the same business day. For expedited or rush orders we make every effort possible to ship same day even after 12:00pm. We encourage calling our customer care line at 1-800-979-8767 if rush engraving is needed after 12:00pm so we can make special arrangements for you.

This cedar urn is made of quality material, has a smooth finish, and included 2 keys w/tassels, all at a great price. The box size is just right for us, it will easily hold all his ashes, it can possibly work as a double holder for 2 smaller people. Thank you.

I recently lost my brother and wanted a fitting urn for his ashes. I found what i wanted.The cedar urn I picked is beautiful I also got a name tag for it in the shape of a motorcycle.we rode together all the time so it was a fitting memorial. My family and I really love this box. Its all cedar well made with a lock Thank you for such a nice urn

Wood Cremation Urns

My husband and I were preparing to intern his parents remains and were not sure which type of vessell we wanted to use. I found the Cedar Wood Cremation Urns and we thougth this is excatly what they would have wanted. We had them engraved which tunred out beautifully. They were exactly as decribed and received within 3 days from placing the order. Could not be happier!

First of all the people are wonderful, patient and kind. This product is superior and simlple classic, elegant. My sister wanted no fuss so we feel we respected that yet paid her tribute to the beautiful classy woman that she was. My brother wrote a perfect poem we had engraved befitting of the butterfly engraving we selected. We called and placed this special order before noon and had it the next afternoon. The price was perfect for the budget and held a bright candle to the hundreds of dollars more urns at the
funeral home.

Very nice urn at a very low cost compared to other sellers. Looks and feels like it has quality, especially for the price. Very small issue: natural knothole on top of box obscured some engraving. Knotholes are natural with cedar, but manufacturer should avoid large ones for area to be carved.

This urn is really simple, and really nice. I am using it for my father-in-law's ashes until they are buried at sea, then it will be used as a nice memory keepsake. The engraving is really worth it, the lettering is much bigger and nicer than anticipated. My order was shipped the following business day after I placed my order & took 5 days to deliver via FedEx ground.
