This memorial rock is accurately molded from real rocks. The rugged casting is hollow, approx. one-inch thick, and open at the bottom. It is manufactured from construction-grade GFRC cast stone to withstand 9,000 psi (pounds per square inch) of pressure and freeze-thaw conditions. It weighs between 50-60 lbs., but is an exact replica of a size of boulder that can weigh 800-1,000 lbs.
With a lifetime guarantee, this model is available in a color choice of Sandstone, Slate Gray (popular in the Midwest and East Coast) or Red Rock.
Solid Bronze Plaque - up to 9 lines
All memorial rocks and trees include a handsome bronze standard-plaque sized
7-1/2" (W) x 5" (H). The standard plaque can feature your choice of up to 9 lines of text with as many as 46 characters per line. (Typically a name, date of birth-death, and special verse or quote).
It's not necessary that all lines be used if you prefer to have less text appear on the plaque. Please be aware of the maximum number of characters per line (each letter, number, space and punctuation is a character that should be counted in this per-line total). Remember the more characters and words on each line, the more the individual characters and available number of lines must be reduced in size to fit the final layout.
As an example, if the first two lines of text are a person's name and date of birth-death, they will usually be in larger letters which will reduce the number of lines and amount of space for additional text. Optional Cremation Urn and/or Keepsake Compartment
More than just serving as a memorial and beautiful accent to your landscaping, for an extra charge any model can be ordered with an internal moisture-resistant receptacle for holding ashes and even keepsakes. The urn and threaded cap, made of thick, industrial-grade polyvinyl chloride, is accessed from under each model and opened-closed by hand.
The urn is available in an individual size of 250-cubic-inch, and is also available in a companion size of 400-cubic-inch. A small hole may need to be dug in the ground for the protruding urn base.
