The Paws On My Heart cremation urn is made from a solid hardwood with a cherry stain. The left plaque is an optional heart shaped frame to hold your favorite 3.75" x 3.25" photo. The right side plaque is an optional engraved poem (see full poems below). If no plaques are selected you can place a 5" x 7" in each side. This pet cremation urn opens from the bottom with a sliding plate.

The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Their bright eyes are intent; their eager body quivers. Suddenly they begin to run from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Paws On My Heart Urn

Was anxiosly awaiting the Paws On My Heart Urn. I chose to get the heart plaque and poem plaque.
This was an excellent idea as this made the urn rich looking, as my beloved dog so deserves. A special way to honor her.
My dog weighed 80 lbs but I got the larger size so there would be room to add tokens for example her collar. I also liked the large script of her name.
She is on the top shelf of my computer desk. She is terribly missed and tears still flow.

Sophie's urn is just lovely and I couldn't be more pleased. Losing her was extremely hard to accept.....but this urn, with the "Rainbow Bridge" poem, it's helped me deal with my sorrow.

This item was absolutely beautiful, it is exactly as pictured. I placed my favorite picture of Zeke in it, and it now sits on the mantle in the living room. A very nice way to keep him close to us.

I purchased the Urn exactly as it is pictured on the website. I was impressed with how lovely it was in person and I loved how the pets name was in large letters. It was very tastefully done. The urn arrived the same day that I brought my beloved Molly's ashes home. She was placed from one loving home to another.

Perfect gift

I ordered this urn for someone who had lost her beautiful King Charles Spaniel and was incredibly heartbroken. She had her dog cremated, but did not know what she would do with the ashes and the pet cemetery placed them in a plain wooden box. When she saw this gift, she loved the personalized inscription and thought it was absolutely beautiful. She was even more surprised when she realized it was an urn. It was also packaged nicely. Thanks so much.
