It was a much higher quality urn than I had expected. In the pictures it almost appears matte black, but it actually is a very dark metal. It looks expensive. The engraving is lovely. It came quickly and I had no troubles. I would do business here again.

FYI: I bought the small urn which is supposed to hold up to 30 or 40 pounds. My cat was only 9lbs and he filled the urn halfway. So, if your animals borderline for the recommended wt. you may want to go one size higher.

The urn was very nice and I was a little worried about the size and Andy not fitting, I must say, the guidelines were spot-on. Andy was 43 lbs and it said it would hold up to 45 lbs. Not a problem, he fit perfectly even with his velvet bag. My only issue was that the engraving was not very dark making it hard to read. The photo shows it very bold, mine wasn't. I love it any ways and would not hesitate to order this product again.

I received the small urn for my sweet Angus within 6 days of ordering. It is so close to perfect I had to rate it a 5. This urn is beautiful would buy again. The seal on the urn is great. It seal's up nice and tight.

This is a solidly built urn and it looks great. We got the urn engraved and it looks great. I also went with the "Engraving example" option to see how it would look before the work was done. Needless to say everything looks great and was shipped quickly.

The reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 starts is as follows. I placed a cremated 37 pound dog into this urn. It filled it to the very top and I even had a little remains left over. Considering this is rated to 45 lbs, you may want to take this into consideration if your pet was 37 lbs or larger.

This wasn't a huge problem for me, as I scattered the little bit of extra remains in the back yard. The urn is now displayed in the living room as a tribute to a great dog.

My beloved Min Pin passed away on 4/11/11 and we had her creamated on 4/12/11. She was such a great companion that I wanted something beautiful for her.
I had ordered her urn that Tuesday and it arrived 3 days later with standard shipping. I must say it was everything I was expecting and more. I got the small size vs the companion even though she was 4 lbs. I spoke with your Customer Service to verify the size I would need. There is room in it for her collar & a picture. The paw prints is what I also liked because they are about her exact size.

Nothing could have ever prepared us for the loss of our 16 year old yorkie "Kermit" After the decision was made to cremate, I was on a search for the perfect memorial urn that just was right for him. I have 4 Labs - now 3 - I had him cremated at my local Vet, did not choose an urn - so I got the paw print, and a metal container with his ashes - I had to split him - so I ordered 2 of these urns, one for me, one for my ex, we both loved him so, he was our first dog and he was "not a dog" but a child to us - I moved away, carried Porter with me, just ordered the 2 urns so (I hate to do it and say it) I could split him between Maine and where I am now - they did such a great job - ease of ordering etc - my only compaint is that it took me forever to get to the right urn even using the seach option - too many - way too many to pick from! I'd recommend having an engraved sample sent to you unless you're really good at proof reading. Love that you can have a poem inscribed on the back. Losing my wonderful cat, Mickey has been so hard- but this is a great way to remember him by.

At a very sad time for me, with the unexpected and fast loss of my first dog, I was glad I found Perfect Memorials. The paw print urn is beautiful and to be able to engrave my own personal message to Oscar was just what i needed. The urn itself is rich looking yet adorable with the cute pawprints all around it. The girls on the phone were very helpful when i asked about the engraving and gave me good advice on the size. My husband also surprised me with his purchase of a memorial necklace which i haven't taken off since he gave it to me. Mine is callled Paw Prints on the Heart. It is glass with red paws emprinted on it and has a nice silver chain and a small opening to put some of Oscie's hair the vet cut from him before i said goodbye to my sweet boy. I highly recommend this company and am very happy i found them.

My precious chihuahua passed away right before Christmas. I really wanted her to have a beautiful urn and searched for what I saw in my head. I was very impressed with the final product that arrived.
The urn itself is more of a dark pewter color with just a bit of shine to it. The picture online looks more matte black to me, but that's fine. It looks very nice in person. It has a good weight to it. It isn't a flimsy or lightweight urn. The engraving turned out fantastic. This is the first time I have used Perfect Memorials, but I would choose to use them again when I need to. I think my furbaby would be proud of her new home.
I have absolutely no complaints about this company.

This urn is very nice. I dont feel you'll be disappointed in it. If I rated only quality it would get a 5. I like the threaded lid for added security, I like the engraving options and that so much is included in the price. I'm not a fan of the paw prints as they aren't really cat paw prints, more like mini bear foot prints. I'm pleased with my choice and feel its fitting for my beloved friend.

I was devastated when I lost my 20 year old & 18-1/2 year old kitties to the battle with kidney disease -- less than 2 months apart. They were my "children", my best friends - in my life longer than any human beings (aside from my parents). I would have preferred to bury them but I rent an apt & don't drive, so I wouldn't be able to visit a Pet Cemetary often. However, I didn't feel the plastic boxes with a faux woodgrain print in which their ashes were returned to me was a suitable resting place. The prices were competitively low & I loved having the option 5 lines of engraving on front AND a poem on the back (I chose both). I'm very happy with the product & feel my babies now have a beautiful, personalized place in which to rest.
