We lost our nephew in a house fire on September 8, 2011, 9 days after his 4th birthday. We were all devastated and trying to figure out how to keep a piece of this precious child with us forever. When looking for an urn for my Dad's cremains I came across this site. At the time I was in a dilemma, my father lived in Georgia to retire, while his 2 daughters remained in our home town of LI/NY. His heart was in both states, so we struggled over what do do with his remains since we brought them back with us to NY. I wanted his urn to reflect both his personality and his history. I found it at perfect memorials. His favorite color is purple and he always stated the fact that Georgia was the primary state for beautiful marble. Even too me to the quarry to see for myself how large the industry was before the particular vein in the area went dry. Even the rare pink marble was quarried not too far from where he lived in GA. I found the perfect urn at Perfect Memorials. The Amethyst Classic Marble Urn Vault was purple and was made out of Georgia Marble! Perfect! Perfect for my father who now will always be at peace in an urn that represents both homes that were close to his heart. I placed an order for a River Rock Custom Engraved Stone --- placed on 1/20 via the web and delivered to my doorstep 1/24. I do believe any non-custom retail order placed during Christmas season took 10-14 days at least via ground.
I was soooo impressed as they quoted 2 weeks which I thought was very fast for a custom item.
The stone is lovely; font as well as stone coloring and size just as quoted!
We are presenting this to our beloved friend who lost her elderly mother....I just know she shall treasure this stone forever!

My husband loved dolphins, so it was natural to get a dolphin pendant to honor John. It is just beautiful- a lovely piece of jewelry, and it makes me feel closer to him. Your service was excellent- acknowledging and delivering my order exactly when you said you would do so. The only (small) concern I have is that the stem (or threading) on the lid is very short- only 2 or 3 threads- and the funeral director (who filled it) was concerned that it might come loose, even though we did glue it.
