This urn is made from composite wood and has a beautiful hand polished satin cherry wood finish. Composite wood will not crack or warp, thus beautifully sustaining the urn's appearance. This urn is easily seals on the bottom with a removable base and threaded screws.

Optional Engraving
An optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Engraving can be up to 4 lines with a total of 40 characters on each line. Engraving will be done directly on the urn or on an engraving plate, on the front or top of the urn. Optional artwork may also be engraved. (See artwork options above)

Why choose engraving?
Engraving your memorial helps to permanently identify the urn. Personalization helps make the memorial for your loved one personal and unique. Some cemetaries can require direct engraving for identifcation purposes. In the incident of being misplaced or lost the engraving can help return the memorial back to it's proper location.

How long will engraving take?
Our engraving is done extremely fast by our skilled engravers. If a ground order is placed before 12:00pm Central Standard Time the urn is generally engraved and shipped the same business day. For expedited or rush orders we make every effort possible to ship same day even after 12:00pm. We encourage calling our customer care line at 1-800-979-8767 if rush engraving is needed after 12:00pm so we can make special arrangements for you.

I was a bit skeptical buying this without seeing it as I wanted it engraved and knew it would not be returnable with engraving. But... I am very pleased with the product and the engraving. Very handsome urn.

My mother and I are very impressed with the urn in every way. I personally feel it was the right choice given the quality of the grain and the appealing look/design. Adding my father's name to the outside further personalized the urn. I would highly recommend this product, along with the gentle and supportive service from the Perfect reps.

instead of purchasing an Oak box with no inlays from a funeral home for $50 more, I was able to get a beautiful Cherry box - orderered it on a Thursday evening after hours, shipped Friday morning and had it in hand the following Monday. I am amazed that you can offer such a beautiful, rich and personal product at such a reasonable price. After seeing what was available at the funeral home I was not prepared to find anything even close to what I wanted at a price I could afford. This magnificent urn was 1/3 the price of comparable urns- and that included the personalization of the urn- something that meant a great deal to me. I cannot thank you enough.

Our cherry wood urn arrived today and the engraving is beautiful, as well as the urn. Our Dad was a woodworker, and we thought this choice was appropriate!
