Remember the book lover in your life with this meaningful large book cremation urn. Made from durable cold cast resin and beautifully hand painted with an elegant antiqued bronze finish, this cremation urn will be a lovely addition to any home. The urn is designed to look just like a traditional hardbound book, complete with raised bands on the spine and an attractive frame detail on the front and back. A small panel on the bottom of the book urn can be removed so you can place the cremains of your loved one inside. This panel has a rubber gasket to protect the contents of the urn, and it secures with several small screws.
It's always a smart idea to include personalized engraving on any urn, including the name of the deceased. We offer an optional engraved plaque for the front "cover" of this book urn. The plaque can include up to 5 lines of custom text, with 40 characters per line, in script or block text. Underneath your custom engraving you can add an optional poem from the choices shown below.

Losing You
Our hearts still ache in sadness,
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know
Never Forget
Your presence we miss
Your memories we treasure
Loving you always
Forgetting you never
Butterflies to Heaven
If butterflies could fly to Heaven
they would bring my love to you
and yours right back to me
Forever in My Heart
Gone, yet not forgotten
Although we are apart
Your spirit lives within me
Forever in my heart
When Someone You Love
When someone you love
becomes a memory,
the memory becomes a treasure
No Farewell Words
No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say goodbye, you were
gone before we knew it,
and only God knows why
Those We Have Held
Those we have held
in our arms for a little while,
we hold in our hearts forever
Perhaps the Stars
Perhaps the stars in the sky,
are loved ones letting us know they are near,
by guiding us through the night
If Love Could Have Saved You
If love could have
saved you, you would
have lived forever
Footprints in the Sand (Excerpt)
My precious child,
I love you and would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you.
If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you home again
