An optional engraving can be done in either a script or block style font. Engraving can be up to 5 lines, 40 characters per line. An optional poem may also be engraved. (See poem choices below)

While my family and I are relatively pleased with the book-style urn itself, the "plaque" is not ENGRAVED. Instead, it is a plastic peel and stick sign or decal onto which the text has been printed. Based on the product description and attendant images, I expected an engraved plaque. I should have known better as the full price of this product probably wouldn't cover the cost of an actual engraving of this size and scope. I spoke to representatives on the phone three times during the course of my order. At no time did any one of them set me straight on what the "engraving" would be. So, buyer beware.
