Perfect Memorials has an extensive selection of black granite and bronze grave markers suitable for placement in nearly any cemetery. A grave marker typically includes the deceased's name, dates of birth and death, and a brief epitaph, poem, or quote. When you choose to purchase a marker from Perfect Memorials, you'll have a range of options to choose from, including custom artwork, engraved portraits, and other decorative touches. Every marker is laid out by a skilled graphics specialist and made with “old world" craftsmanship.

Choosing between cemetery markers can be a challenge for any family going through the difficult experience of losing a loved one, so we try to make the experience as easy as possible. Every order page will clearly show you your options, including any additional costs associated with optional features. If you have any questions about ordering, or would simply like to speak to a service professional who can guide you through the process, please call 1-800-979-8767 and we'll be glad to help.

Marker Material Options

Grave markers from Perfect Memorials are available in black granite and cast bronze. Our black granite burial markers are etched using the latest high power laser technology, letting us create clear and lasting engravings. Cast bronze markers can be customized with different background colors and textures, as well as several types of borders. Please note that cast bronze grave markers include “conceal-mount" hardware for cemetery installation, but a base will not be provided. Perfect Memorials also does not perform installations.

Granite Marker Options

When choosing between granite memorial plaques for graves, you'll need to think about the size you need, how much engraving you would like, and if you'd like to include an engraved photo or other artwork. We offer a number of standard graphics to choose, including roses, laurel branches, lighthouses, and woodlands. Most granite markers have space for your loved one's name, birthdate, and date of death. Our team of experienced graphics specialists will make sure that your text is sized and positioned on the marker to look its best, but please call us with any special requests.

Granite markers are available in four different sizes, ranging from 16" x 8" to 30" x 12", and all are a full 4" thick to ensure that they last. Depending on the size, your marker will weigh between 65 and 155 lbs.

Cast Bronze Marker Options

Cemetery markers made of cast bronze typically provide more space for personalization, with up to eight lines of text with space for 55 characters each. It's important to note that you are not required to fill all of the available space; our skilled designers will lay out your requested text so that it looks its best in the space available. We'll also send you proofs of your requested engraving as quickly as possible so that you can make any changes or corrections needed before the marker is forged. Our team always performs a cemetery verification prior to making your marker to help ensure that all requirements are met.

Cast bronze grave markers offer several additional customization options:

  • Background colors – Light brown, dark brown, or black
  • Background textures – Plain, leather, or pebble
  • Border style – Raised single line, raised double line, painted bevel, polished bevel, or no border
  • Optional flower vase

There are four sizes available: 24" x 12", 24" x 14", 28" x 16", and 36" x 14". All markers are 3/4" thick and weigh between 22 and 45 lbs., depending on the size.

You can also select to have a piece of artwork included on your grave marker. Choices include a shepherd, cross, praying hands, stalks of wheat, and more. Please contact our team at 1-800-979-8767 if you have any questions about custom artwork.

Although Perfect Memorials does not install grave markers, we can ship them directly to the cemetery of your choice. “Conceal-mount" hardware is included, as this is one of the most common installation methods. These markers are typically mounted on granite or concrete, so you'll want to discuss the entire installation process with the cemetery where your loved one is buried.

How to select the right size urn

Enter in an approximate weight of your loved one before cremation and we will tell you the size needed.

Choosing the right size urn

Try finding an urn with our easy cremation urn finder.

Choosing the right size urn is easy. For every one pound before cremation you will need 1 cubic inch of volume. For example, a loved one weighing 200 pounds will need an urn that is at least 200 cubic inches or larger. Choosing an urn larger then you need is OK.
