Each plate comes with double sided adhesive. This adhesive can be used to attach the plate to a wide variety of materials such as wood, metal, glass or plastic.

The measurement for this state the paw print is 2 and 7/8th my dogs creation box is 3 inches High and the paw print hangs over the edge of it. I do love the paw print and am going to find another use for it. I just ordered a smaller rectangular plate for her ashes. -
