About Pet Memorials
Losing a pet can be very difficult. Our pets give us companionship, friendship, and unconditional love. If you've lost a pet, creating a pet memorial can be a beautiful way to honor them. Perfect Memorials has a wide range of pet memorials to choose from, including pet urns, pet cremation jewelry, stone memorials, and figurines. You might consider a pet grave marker or plaque as a thoughtful memorial as well.
Pet Cremation Urns
Pet memorials can really include anything that reminds you of your pet and brings you comfort in your time of loss. It's very common to have pets cremated, so you might want to build a memorial around a pet urn. Many of our pet urns can be personalized with custom engraving, and you may want to place a collar, tags, or favorite toys in the urn, if there's space, or next to it. You can also include a photo engraved plaque with a picture of your pet in your pet memorial as well.
As well as indoor urns, you might want to consider a charcoal rock pet urn that's designed to be placed indoors or out. Available in small, medium, large, or extra-large, these urns look like black rocks, but include a small metal plaque that can be customized with your pet's details. Charcoal rock urns are made with real granite particles and are given a polyurethane finish to protect them from the elements.
Stone Memorials for Pets
Whether you choose to have your pet cremated or buried, many people find that stone memorials for pets are a great way to honor their departed friend. Stone pet memorials can be placed indoors or outside in the garden or yard, depending on what they are made of; memorials with photos, for example, might be damaged by rain and direct sunlight. These memorial stones often include a brief poem, quote, or phrase related to your pet, such as “Here lies a faithful friend and companion" or “Our beloved pet." You may choose to use these stones as headstones, placing them over where your pet is buried, or simply place one in your garden, perhaps where your pet liked to sit.
Personalized Pet Memorials
While a general pet memorial stone or urn can be a good way to honor your faithful companion, many people prefer a personalized pet memorial. Many memorial stones, urns, ornaments, and other products can be customized with your pet's name and years of birth and death. Depending on the particular memorial, you may also be able to add an engraved photo and/or a brief quote.
Pet Cremation Jewelry
If you'd like a pet memorial that you can keep with you always, consider a cremation necklace, ring, or charm. Pet cremation jewelry looks much like any other piece of jewelry, but it includes a small sealable chamber where a small portion of cremains can be kept. This lets you honor your pet and keep him close to your heart. If you'd rather keep a bit of fur instead, you can add that to the chamber of your pet memorial jewelry as well.
Pet Grave Markers and Plaques
In addition to stone markers and pet headstones, you may want to honor your pet with a special marker or plaque. These pet memorials can be installed into the ground at a gravesite or in your backyard. A personalized pet grave marker is a permanent and elegant reminder of your faithful friend. At Perfect Memorials, we also have a number of stone plaques that can be attached to a wall or fence outside your home as a special pet memorial.
Additional Pet Keepsakes
You may also decide to memorialize your pet companion with a pet keepsake such as a personalized ornament, wind chimes, or a framed photo. No matter what pet memorials you choose, you can rest assured it will be a lasting tribute for years to come.

Choosing the right size urn is easy. For every one pound before cremation you will need 1 cubic inch of volume. For example, a loved one weighing 200 pounds will need an urn that is at least 200 cubic inches or larger. Choosing an urn larger then you need is OK.
